Hôtel Le Ponant at the crossroads of mythical roads

Between Auvergne and Languedoc-Roussillon, the Stevenson or GR70 road links the south of the Massif Central to the deep Cevennes. This path is a hiking route from Puy-en-Velay to Saint-Jean-du-Gard or even Alès. You will leave in the footsteps of Robert Louis Stevenson by the vast volcanic plateaus of Velay, the highlands of Gévaudan, to cross then Mount Lozère then the crests and valleys of the Cevennes.

From Puy-en-Velay to Saint Gilles-du-Gard, the path of Régordane or GR700 crosses 3 departments (Haute Loire, Lozère and Gard). It is as much a path as a link between the populations where you will be able to discover several monuments listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list, notably: the cathedral of Puy en Velay, villages among "the most beautiful of France", the arenas Nîmes, the abbey of Saint Gilles or the landscapes of the Cevennes.

Whether in the land of volcanoes, in the Cevennes or on the shores of the Mediterranean coast, the path of Régordane offers each hiker a stay rich of cultural and natural exceptional offer. A stay to prepare by booking in our establishment the Hotel Le Ponant located at the crossroads of these paths!
